Last year, Which Wich experienced what might be called a happy accident. Frequent diner Chad Ettmueller locked his jaw when attempting to bite into a double-meat Wicked® at the store in Cumming, Georgia. While painful for Ettmueller in the beginning, the end result was warm fuzzies all around. We received quite a bit of media attention, and Ettmueller became the unofficial ambassador of our brand. We are honored yet again that Restaurant Business recognized this wicked encounter in its list of 50 Great Ideas. In fact, we’re no. 1. It’s going to be tough to top that this year! But we’ll give it a try!

You like us. You really like us! For the second year in a row, Which Wich has made it to the WFAA-List, in which users vote for their favorites in 13 categories, including cheap eats, great meals, arts and entertainment, and fashion. After seven years here, our hometown still hearts us, and we can add 2010 Best Sandwich Shop in North Texas to our list of top honors. Yep, that’s a little tear you see in the corner of our eye.
Wow. There aren’t a lot of people—much less CEO’s—willing to release “before” photos quite like the one above. But that’s Jeff Sinelli’s style, to tell it (and show it) like it is. Sinelli shares the story of his triumphant weight loss—and regained clarity about his business—with Healthy Dining’s Anita Jones-Mueller.
Wow! We're on fire! And we mean that sincerely, because the latest honor is coming out Albuquerque, New Mexico, the only store in the country where you can get hot red and green chilies on your wiches! Albuquerque, the Magazine has named Which Wich the Best of the City in its annual “best of” issue. Congratulations, chile-heads! This is shaping up to be a very happy holiday season, indeed.
Dear UT Austin, we owe you a big Thank You Turkey for naming Which Wich the UTmost Campus Sandwich Shop for fall 2010. We won’t lie. We get a bit teary thinking about this one, because a certain Which Wich blogger is a UT alumna.
